About 600 Spartans attended the SHS homecoming dance on Saturday, 10/14. With the proceeds from the event, Student Council will be able to help fund many activities for the Sparta High School Community. Additionally, because some students chose to donate non-perishable food items to defer some of the cost of admission, the SHS Student Council will be able to make a sizable donation to the Sparta Food Pantry. 

As part of the tradition of Homecoming, a pair of Spartan Royals were crowned. Molly Mc Queeney and Jacob Ameen were elected SHS Royalty 2023:

The Student Council Officers were also honored at the Homecoming football game on 10/13. 

The Executive and Class officers meet almost weekly to plan events and raise funds so all students will have the best possible experience during their time at SHS. They are looking forward to their next combined major event. Student Council will be hosting its first EVER Fashion Show to raise funds for all grade levels. The event will take place on 3/7/24 at the Lafayette House. More information to follow...
