 Class of 2027 Election Day - Did YOU vote?

Last week, the Class of 2027 held elections to vote for class officers.Student Council works to advocate for student voices and organize activities for the Sparta High School community.


President

John Reina


The elected freshman president is John “Dewey” Reina, with his campaign slogan “He Can ‘Dew’ It.”

In his campaign promises, Reina says he will keep his vision aligned with those of his student peers. He pledges to do his best as a president, enticing us to vote for him by maintaining his ideals as that of the American dream.

With his yet four years of high school remaining, he will certainly make a difference for all of us.

When asked to make a comment for the Oracle, he declined.




Vice President 

Zachary Kopco


Zachary Kopco is the newly elected freshman vice president. 

His campaign promises are based around making the school year fun and enriching the experience for the class of 2027. With these events, he hopes to raise money for the school, allowing the funding of future events.

The Oracle was unable to get a statement from Kopco.

Secretary

Brady Flannery

Brady Flannery, the new secretary, joined the Student Council so that he could apply the voice of himself and other students to the decisions of the school.

Flannery vows to work together with the rest of the Student Council in finding efficient ways to tackle problems in the school and plan enjoyable events for all to partake in.

His references include being “punctilious in the classroom and having fundraised for his soccer teams.”




Treasurer

Celia Rossettini

Running unopposed,Celia Rossettini will now serve as the new freshman treasurer, 

Rossettini ensures she will keep a great inventory of funding for school events, organizing and making sure enough is had for an enjoyable time at occasions like the prom. With her ears open to the student body, events will take the feedback of all those who want to make suggestions. 

Her self-declared traits of a good treasurer include responsibility, being able to organize well, and an enjoyment of math.
