SHS and Alpine Elementary Literacy Partnership

SHS and Alpine Elementary Literacy Partnership

By Kelly Groome

Students at SHS are working on an exciting new literacy partnership with Alpine Elementary School.
The program consists of members from our own Oracle Staff as well as the Student Council, however,
any SHS students are invited to participate.
Within the partnership, SHS students will be reading different youth books to the classes at Alpine
Elementary. The readings will take place virtually during lunch, and at the end of the year, hopefully,
a field trip will allow for it to be in person.

The project was originally run a few years ago but has recently been brought back by Mrs. DeLuccia,
and Alpine Elementary librarian, Ms. Gallagher.

If you’re looking to join the google classroom code is: 2kkai55. If you have any questions about the program, please reach out to Mrs. DeLuccia.
