Sparta High Photographers Capture Precious Student Moments

Written by: Liv Canova

Ever had that one event that you knew you looked rad in, but the only photos you could get were grainy or watermarked? Well, you obviously haven’t checked out @spartahighphotography on Instagram.

The account, run by juniors Tessa Gori and Kyle Neuwirth, showcases Sparta’s talent in mostly athletics, but also artistic and academic endeavors.

The two attend game after game, competition after competition, to try and capture the many talents of Spartans.

“We get to cover some of the lesser-known activities and the kids who we take pictures of always like to have them,” comments Gori. She and Neuwirth have both been interested in photography for a long time. For Neuwirth, it was playing with his dad’s camera settings. For Gori, it was love at first click-- right here at Sparta High.

“I’m not going to do photography for a living, but it's definitely a good skill to have and something I’ll use in the future,” reflects Neuwirth.

If you had a school or community-related event, there's a pretty good chance they captured it. Contact them at @spartahighphotography for more information!
