Ten Fun Activities From the Holidays

Written by: Noelle Hanek

The most cheerful time of the year seems to always come and go so quickly. Celebrating the holidays can be forgotten in the midst of our overwhelming lives, so here is a fun variety of festive activities to do this holiday season!

Get Baking!
Preparing a batch of some dazzling holiday cookies is a traditional favorite that will never get old.  A few delicious ideas include sugar cookies, chocolate peppermint cookies, cupcakes, and brownies. Find any recipe of your preference and get baking!

Gaze at the Lights!
Beautiful and bold Christmas lights are all around during the holiday season, but they can only be seen once a year! Take a drive around town with family during the night, and admire your surroundings. To further get into holiday spirit, listen to some Christmas tunes! In addition, another great way to look at the lights is to go to a Christmas light show. An idea is to visit the annual Skylands Stadium holiday lights show in Augusta New Jersey, taking place between Nov. 16 through Dec. 30. Over two million lights can be seen through this one mile drive, and is a true holiday delight!
